You controlled your environment, not yourself

Starting in January, I decided to quit sugar for 30 days. When I start it my habit change journey, I learn a valuable lesson about a habit change you need to control your environment, not yourself. But when it comes to self-control, I have control like four years old if I see cookies, chocolate, cupcake forget about it I enjoy. So I knew that if I want to give up the sugar, I need to get them out of my house. I don’t have the discipline to resist them. That the most simple things you can do to change your diet, eating healthy don’t bring the junk to your house. So here you come to change your environment replacement;       

Reminder: sticky note

Now, what can I suggest you sit down with a pen and paper and brainstorm and write down whatever pops on your head write down your motivating factor? Why you want to build that habit. It’s not a right or wrong, to choose a motivating factor. Then select 1-3 long term factor. Then figure out which one means to most to you and write it down on a sticky note and post it on your refrigerator, your mirror, in front of your stove, it’s a constant reminder why you want to build that habit or why you line in a healthy lifestyle.

Accountability

You need to find a buddy in this part someone needs to stay responsible with you. It doesn’t need to be someone doing the habit-building with you. It just needs to be someone who you comfortable with who can push you. Talk to your partner once a week twice a week, whatever is work for you. Tell them what your progress is, what are your set pack is and see they can give you some advice, opinion and can help you the right direction. I find if we have someone to talk to and someone keep us an accountable, we are more likely to stick to a plan. With someone Support, we can become more responsible as supposed to do on your own.

Take Action

As we discussed above, there is one perfect way to start habit building is take action. Be gentle with yourself and allow us to fail. And Let go to perfection. Take a tiny step every day. That will make a more significant impact over time in your life.
